Nine years turning sprawling enterprise UIs into composable systems — module-federated shells, cross-team design contracts, and interfaces that stay fast under real-world weight.

Scroll
Who I am

I build the scaffolding other engineers stand on. For nine years I've taken enterprise frontends that had grown tangled and slow, and re-shaped them into composable systems — places where teams ship independently without the UI falling apart.

The engineering side

Micro-frontend architecture, module federation, and the unglamorous plumbing in between — the data contracts and shared shells that let a dozen apps feel like one product. I care about the boundaries: what each team owns, and how the seams disappear for the person actually using the thing. Lately that same systems thinking extends to AI — agentic delivery frameworks where coding agents ship real work inside human-defined guardrails.

The human side

Curious by default, slightly playful, happiest at the intersection of design and engineering. Off-screen I'm hiking a ridgeline, on a bike, planning the next trip, or slowly making a new house feel like home — craftsmanship and restraint show up everywhere I work.

Maersk

Software Engineer III
A.P. Moller–Maersk · Pricing platforms
  • Designed a Next.js framework on top of Webpack Module Federation and onboarded multiple pricing applications into a shared micro-frontend architecture.
  • Built an agentic development framework on Claude Code — a nine-stage spec-to-PR delivery pipeline with role-scoped subagents, human approval gates and machine-checked governance via git hooks.
  • Built the cross-MFE data-communication layer that lets independent apps talk back and forth, keeping the user experience seamless.
  • Created a centralised Cypress automation suite guarding the robustness of every pricing frontend.
  • Active in the Community of Practice and Steering Group — setting coding standards and the architectural patterns used across Maersk.

The Module-Federation shell

A platform that lets pricing teams ship on their own clock
Problem

Pricing was many separate React apps with duplicated tooling, drifting UX and painful releases.

Approach

A Next.js framework over Webpack Module Federation: one host shell, independently deployable remotes, shared design contracts.

Hard part

Letting remotes communicate without coupling — an event-driven data layer for to-and-fro state across MFEs.

Impact

Multiple apps onboarded onto one architecture; consistent UX and a repeatable path for new teams.

Agents with a constitution

An agentic delivery framework that turns AI coding assistants into governed teammates
Problem

AI coding assistants were ad-hoc helpers — no spec, uneven output, and changes shipping without tests, docs or a review trail.

Approach

A nine-stage, spec-driven pipeline on Claude Code: Jira ticket in; spec, code, tests, docs and an attributed PR out. Resumable and idempotent — it detects its phase from filesystem and git state.

Hard part

Governance: five tool-scoped subagents, three hard human approval gates, a human-owned constitution of Always / Ask-first / Never rules, and hooks that flag undocumented changes.

Impact

AI moved from experiment to governed delivery — one AGENTS.md contract keeps Claude Code, Cursor and Copilot under the same rules, with human sign-off at every critical decision.

One suite, every app

Platform-level test automation for the whole pricing surface
Problem

Each app tested in isolation; regressions slipped through the cracks between micro-frontends.

Approach

A centralised Cypress suite exercising critical pricing journeys end-to-end across the federated apps.

Hard part

Stable cross-MFE flows, shared fixtures, and a fast feedback loop wired into CI.

Impact

Confidence to release often; a single source of truth for frontend robustness.

Streaming, made fast

A video-on-demand front end built for scale and slow networks
Problem

A content-heavy VOD app needed to load fast across India's network spectrum and work offline-ish.

Approach

SSR, aggressive browser caching, service workers and AMP pages, with a reusable tray/component system.

Hard part

Video player + Google DFP ad integration, plus Continue Watching, voice search and push at scale.

Impact

Faster first loads, offline resilience, and a richer logged-in experience for millions of viewers.

After the purchase

Protection-plan & warranty experiences on cloud-native delivery
Problem

Post-purchase journeys — protection plans, warranties — were fragmented and hard to evolve.

Approach

Independent microsites and micro-frontends, each with its own CI/CD onto Google Cloud.

Hard part

Cloud-native delivery with Jenkins, Docker, K8s, Spinnaker, Istio and Envoy — kept simple for product teams.

Impact

Faster iteration on revenue-driving post-purchase flows, owned end-to-end.
